Light Activity....

"Light activity"

WTH!?!?
Words spoken to me by my gynecologist today.  What does that mean? I'm sitting there half dressed on the little table and trying to wrap my head around this and Brent pipes up

"Doc- you have to be specific with her. She doesn't slow down"

So Dr Wilson continues "No heavy lifting... you need to sit in a chair and be a director. Point Fingers.  Let everyone think you are bossy". Ugggggggggg

Let me back up a little.

We are in the beginning stages of planting a nice size garden and I love it.
Prob about an acre in size.  Brent has worked like crazy to get it all tilled. He got up a ton of loose sticks and roots.

We put out the fertilizer that our soil tests recommended (thank you West Feed Mill) ,

and got the spacing right on the rows. (thank you Vines family for letting us borrow the equipment we needed)
We ordered enough black plastic and soaker hoses for 18 - 100' rows (thank you Amazon Prime)
and the rest we'd go natural on.

Our rows were ready this past weekend to start planting and it just about killed me.
I hurt so bad from bending over, planting and just plain walking around. Pearson and I literally only accomplished two rows... And Did I mention that I'm 31 weeks pregnant? I hid inside in bed for most of the afternoon in agony.
In my mind, I can still do everything before I was preg, but the reality is,  I just can't.

I love to work.

I love to be outside.

But, my body is saying "Stoopppppp".

I was already starting to feel bad the week before and had sadly made the decision to cancel a rode trip to Dallas to hear Jack Johnson with two of my favorite people in the world~ Rachel and Jennifer. Brent had bought us all tickets for Christmas and hearing Jack had always been on my bucket list. I knew sitting in the car all the way to Dallas would be awful for me but it still made it hard to not go. I cried a lot of hormonal tears over this tough decision. And then I also canceled last minute to go out too dinner Saturday night with my running buddies to celebrate a friends birthday. Uggg ...More tears. Sorry Erin!

Today, I found out that I'm already dilated to 1 and apparently Leighton is measuring pretty darn big. Got to take it easy.... I keep trying to tell myself that my new job is keeping this baby from coming out anytime soon and letting her cook all the way to well done. I am reminding myself that she is a gift from God and there are tons of women out there who would give anything to be 31 weeks pregnant right now.

So This evening, I sat outside in a chair with my side kicks~ Penny and LeRoy~

and watched my hubs bend over a lot as he figured out the irrigation system.

Hahahah Luckily, he has a great ass!

To be continued

PS: Our new little 3 month old Silkies named "Ouisser and Clairee" seem to be slowly adjusting to life outside with the big girls. Thankful for the beautiful weather we have been having and seeing the P's play outside like we used to when we were little.
